I have chosen the first photo. The lighting in the photo is focused on the models face giving him the 50/50 dark light feel to the photo. The models face is tilted down and away from the camera resembling "The Thinker". The photo was taken horizontally. The models sense of extreme intelligence is being shown with his choice in pose and his extremely above average beauty is being shown obviously.
Compare and contrast:
Compared to the first photo the second photo depicts a different feeling. Instead of the Intelligence message/ felling the first picture gives off. The second picture shows the "you can take the boy off the streets but you cant take the streets out of the boy". This is shown by the models posture of covering his face. The lighting creates a shadow on his face giving off a mysterious vibe.

I used a self timer on a Iphone 5s as well as a selfie stick. My pictures were taken in class at around noon time. I used the rule of thirds and kept the main subject in one third of the picture. I used the settings of 400 sunny f22. I photographed me hanging out with my friends in class to communicate that I am an outgoing person. My pictures are self portraits because i chose my setting very carefully and strategically. Also it was planned and not a spur of the moment thing.
The two sets of pictures had similar composition sop they worked well together. I overlapped my face onto a picture of the sky in one and in the other I put the face of a fellow classmate in the lense of a old camera. I overlapped one photo on the other and then erased the undesirable parts. My pictures convey how there is a higher power in the world (me). And that cameras see you how you really are.
